My husband & I recently stayed here to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary & had a wonderful experience. Paul, the manager, went above & beyond to make our stay special & was incredibly accommodating. Adrienne & Daniel at the front desk were absolutely amazing - friendly, professional, & always willing to help with anything we needed. The staff truly made us feel welcomed & valued throughout our stay. We appreciate the excellent customer service & the role they played in helping us create such special anniversary memories. We look forward to returning & highly recommend Ocean Sands Resort to anyone visiting Virginia Beach!!

Our family of 4 stayed here for six days and it was truly a pleasure! We checked in easily and were able to use the oversized parking for my husband's truck. Our room was clean and included two large flat screens, a kitchenette with a nice size refrigerator/freezer, coffee pot, microwave oven stovetop, sink, dishwasher. A large kitchen table with chairs. Our bedroom had plenty of space and the bed itself was comfortable. The balcony allowed a beautiful front row seat to the ocean sunrises. The bathroom was clean and had a shower with a jetted tub (we did not use tub during our stay). The water was hot and had good pressure! Their pool and hot tub were great as well as their patio area overlooking the store fronts. The staff was friendly and greeted us all throughout the building. There are garbage and recycling shoots on each floor to dispose of trash. Coffee in the lobby offered in the mornings was great! There were only a few downsides; the pullout bed which our oldest child slept on did not have a mattress cover or fitted sheet and it was very stained up (luckily we brought a sleeping bag). The parking garage was being painted and relatively clean but the exit area smelled very

This was a decent weekend stay. The good: The staff was very helpful. We had a suite with separate bedroom, kitchenette, balcony, and beach front access. The indoor pool, hot tub, and gym were down the hall on the 6th floor. There is a bike rental outside the side door. The bad: The WiFi on the bedroom & living room TV's needed 3 people to fix. The toilet wasn't flushing properly and needed service. The water pressure in the shower was just enough to get wet. The required shower at the pool has no hot water. Their location on Atlantic Ave made it worth overlooking the negatives
